- If you are taking out a subscription to the ISSN portal for the first time, please complete the form available on the Extranet. Please contact the Sales Department for a personalised estimate attuned to your needs: click on the tab “Discover ISSN Services” or on the button “Contact” in the footer, fill in the form and send it by clicking on the button “Submit”. The ISSN International Centre will then set up the subscription conditions on the Extranet, and inform you by email.
As a new corporate customer, you will receive an email from the ISSN International Centre (no-reply [at] issn.org) including a link. Click on the link and you will be automatically redirected to the ISSN Portal page in order to set up your password to the ISSN Extranet. Then, click on “My corporate information” and you are switched to your institutional area.
To request a test account of the ISSN Services, please contact the Sales Department: click on the tab “Discover ISSN Services” or on the button “Contact” in the footer, fill in the form and send it by clicking on the button “Submit”.
As a Corporate Customer, your login and password to connect to the ISSN Extranet area is requested. It will allow you to manage your ISSN subscription, your subscription renewal, your invoices, your ISSN Portal users and usage statistics. To connect to your institutional account, click on the icon “Temple” located on the top of the screen and enter your login and password. Click once again on the icon “Temple” and on “My corporate information”. Please follow the steps below:
- Update your billing and delivery addresses by clicking on the link “See more” - To renew your subscription, click on the link “Renewal subscription” - Issue an invoice and click on the button “Pay” to issue an invoice - Add your internal purchase order if necessary - You can then visualize, download and print the invoice hand over to your financial department - On the link “Users login”, update the email addresses and passwords of the users of the ISSN Extranet - On the link “Portal user”, update the email addresses and passwords of the users of the ISSN Portal.
To add an option to your subscription, you can:
- click on the icon “Temple” located on the top of the screen and enter your institutional login and password. Click once again on the icon “Temple” and on “My corporate information”. On the icon “My subscription”, click on “Add options” and select the ISSN service requested. - Or you can contact the Sales Department by using the collaborative platform in your institutional area
You can choose between:
- payment by credit card (PayPal payment), indicating the user's email address and password. The Paypal payment can be issued directly through your ISSN Extranet account. or - wire transfer. Payment is due within sixty (60) days as from the issuing date of the invoice.
Once your ISSN subscription has been renewed and the ISSN invoice has been issued, downloaded and printed, your accesses to the ISSN Portal will be activated for the period renewed.
From the login area, you can access these sections: My account, My corporate information, Messages. My account Click on the Temple icon, and then choose My account. Click on the tab Edit, and modify your user name, your e-mail address, your password, your language settings. By default, the Private messages section is ticked which enables you to receive e-mail notifications from ISSN librarians. My corporate information This section enables you to view:
- your credentials as you entered them when you registered, you can update your information; - your current subscriptions; - your invoices; - your own login user. - the ISSN Portal login user
Click on each tab to access the sub-section of your choice.
1) Tab “Corporate information”: Click on “See more” to display more details. Click on the button “Submit” to save your updated information. You can also generate a PDF file and update your invoicing / delivery addresses and your email address. 2) Tab “Subscription”: You can get a summary of your current subscription to the ISSN services and renew your ISSN subscription. 3) Tab “Invoices”: you can see your past invoices and see, download, and print your current ones. 4) Tab “Users”: The “User login” is the login for your extranet connection. The “Portal users” are the connection details for your institution’s users who access the ISSN Portal. NOTE: For the first connection and only for customers who have subscribed to the ISSN Portal by login and password, you should reboot your passwords and indicate the email of end users of the ISSN Portal. 5) Tab “Access statistics”: you can retrieve all usage statistics of the ISSN Portal. Select the period of your choice and access statistics about: the total number of visits, records downloaded via API or the website, API usage (search or download) [see section 7.3 Are REST API available?]

If you do not renew your subscription, and if you have used modified ISSN Data in your own database, you may continue to use ISSN data in strict accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use.
